THE ROOM
WILL MY GROUP BE LOCKED INTO THE ROOM?
No, the entrance door will remain unlocked for the duration of your game and players can exit whenever they need to. The only locked doors are the ones required to progress through the room.
WILL MY GROUP HAVE TO SHARE THE ROOM WITH OTHER PLAYERS?
No, all of our rooms are private by default. The people on your booking are the only people allowed into the room. We don't use live actors in the rooms either.
ARE THE ROOMS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSSIBLE?
Two of our rooms are completely wheelchair accessible throughout the whole game. Choose between the Boom Room or Serial Killer Charade.
Our entire facility is wheelchair accessible, including toilets and changing areas.
DO YOU HAVE ANY ROOMS FOR NON-ENGLISH SPEAKERS?
All of our rooms require a basic level of English for some of the puzzle elements, but we do provide help sheets in French for those that want some extra assistance.
ARE ANY OF THE ROOMS SCARY? DO THEY HAVE JUMP SCARES?
Serial Killer Charade is our horror themed room, and is supposed to be scary! We recommend that players should be 13 and over for this room. There are no jump scares in this room.
Outbreak is our zombie apocalypse themed room, which does have some scary parts and incorporates a few mild jump scares. We suggest players should be aged 13+ for this room as a result.
If you're looking for something with a supernatural theme that isn't too scary we would recommend Deliverance, though be ready for a challenge, this one is tricky! There are no jump scares in this room.
I DON'T LIKE ENCLOSED SPACES, CAN I STILL PLAY?
Our rooms are quite open and spacious inside, and we can make the ambient lighting brighter if required. We're happy to help with any accessibility requests, please contact us before your activity with any questions or requirements.

RULES & GAMEPLAY
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO PLAY?
With our beginner escapes, players can be as young as 7 years old! To request a beginner escape, simply check the 'Make this a beginner escape' checkbox during the booking process. Groups under the age of 10 will need to have one supervising adult in the room (no charge for the adult).
For the regular game modes, we recommend the following ages for each room:
BOOM ROOM: 7+
DELIVERANCE: 10+
UNDERMINED: 7+
WARLOCKED: 7+
OUTBREAK: 13+
For our online experiences, we recommend:
IMPACT: 12+
While we won't prevent younger players from entering the room, the experience may be unsuitable or too challenging for them. Please follow the recommendations when booking a room for younger players.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY PER ROOM?
We recommend a maximum of 8 players per room*, but the rooms can hold up to 10 players if you have a larger group. For more than 10, we suggest booking two rooms and splitting up into two smaller groups. You can even race to see which group escapes first!

DO MINORS NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT?
For groups aged 10+, we don't require an adult to be present in the room, though it may be a good idea as the rooms can be quite challenging. There is no charge for one supervising adult.

AM I ALLOWED HINTS IF I GET STUCK?
Yes, you can have an unlimited number of hints throughout the entire game.
BOOKING, CANCELLATION & PAYMENT
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you need to cancel your experience, you can do so at any time by contacting us directly. Depending on the time until your booking, there may be a fee:
More than 48 hours notice: No fee, receive a full refund.
Less than 48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee, 50% refund.
Less than 24 hours notice: 100% cancellation fee, no refund.
WILL OTHER PLAYERS BE BOOKED INTO THE SAME ROOM AS ME?
No, all of our rooms are private to your group by default. The people on your booking are the only people you will play with.
DO YOU HAVE ANY GROUP DISCOUNTS?
Currently, there are no group discounts available. However, we do have our multi-room deal, where you can take on two rooms (must be on the same day) for $52+HST per player.
If you would like to redeem this offer, please contact us directly to make your booking as this option is not available online.
IS THERE A DISCOUNT IF I PLAY ARCHERY GAMES AS WELL?
Yes! Take advantage of our combo deal and get one room and one game of archery for the reduced price of $52+HST per person.
To redeem this deal, select 'pay later' when you book both experiences and our staff will apply the deal for you upon arrival, or alternatively you can contact us directly to arrange the combo booking.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU HOST IN TOTAL?
For everyone to be playing at the same time, we recommend a maximum of 50 people.
For more players than this, consider adding Archery Games to your event, which can substantially increase the number of places available.
DO I HAVE TO PAY ONLINE OR CAN I PAY IN PERSON?
We now only offer payment on arrival, even for bookings made online. This is so you can change the number of players in your group without needing to update us. Simply arrive with 2-8 players for your booking, and pay for the number of players on the day.
We do recommend arriving 15 minutes before your game is scheduled to start, so there is time for your whole group to pay and get set up.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY GAME?
Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booking to go through payment, make use of our lockers and to receive the full briefing.
DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS AND COAT STORAGE?
Yes, we have free to use lockers for your things, or you may take them into the room with you. If you would like to secure your locker, please bring your own lock. We also have plenty of hooks for your coats and bags.
DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD & DRINKS? CAN I BRING MY OWN?
We have a small selection of light refreshments:

For all other food & drink needs, you are welcome to bring your own and enjoy them at the tables in our lobby.
Please be aware that on busier days, all of our tables may be booked by private event groups. If you would like to reserve a table for free, please contact us. Party tables are limited to 20 people max.
DO I NEED TO BRING/WEAR ANYTHING TO PLAY?
Nothing special is required to play, everything you need to complete the room will be waiting inside. Feel free to come in costume!
DO YOU HAVE PARKING?
Yes, we have plenty of free parking at the front and back of the facility.
ARE THERE OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT I CAN DO AT YOUR FACILITY?
Yes, we also offer:
Archery Games | It's dodgeball meets archery in a fast paced game you can play with (or against) your friends and family! Take aim and shoot each other with bows and soft, foam-tipped arrows!
Nerf Wars | A game similar to Archery Games, but aimed at ages 4 - 12 and played with Nerf guns instead of bows and arrows. Ideal for kids birthday parties!
Playback | A fun, backyard themed games bar located right inside our facility! Enjoy free games while you enjoy a few drinks after your room. Be aware, Playback is a 19+ venue and does not serve food.
I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT PLAYBACK AFTER, DO I GET A DISCOUNT?
Yes, Playback occasionally has a discount / special offer for Room Escape and Archery Games participants, but as it changes alongside the other restaurant specials, you will need to ask your host on the day for the exact offer.
DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?
No you don't, no danger is involved!
